Aaron McLean

What were you doing before Symmetry and what was your approximate income?
I was a K-9 handler searching for Explosives. $80,000

What attracted you to Symmetry Financial Group?
The ability to earn an income and be able to do what I wanted with my family. Just simply enjoy life with the people that mattered. Being able to build a business where I could leave a legacy for my family when I'm long gone.

How has your life changed since joining Symmetry?
I've went from working 60+ hrs a week 8 hours away from my family to working from home. Doing simple things like being able to drop my boys off at school. And not missing the little moments.

What opportunities have you been able to do or provide because you started working with Symmetry Financial Group, that you likely would not have done or unable to in another career?
I've been able to take my family on multiple vacations and never having to ask permission. Im currently in the middle of a plan to outfit my high school sports teams in all new uniforms. Just being able to give at a higher rate. Being able to pick up the check for my family while were out to eat is really something I love doing.

What advice do you have for a new agent?
Just understand that you're in a new place in life. Whether you're coming from insurance or not you've got a lot to learn. So give yourself grace. Realize that there's phases in this business. Go make an absolute mess of things. Because in the midst of that mess you'll trip over a couple sales here and there. Your mentor will be able to clean up just about anything. And most importantly you'll learn so many valuable lessons along the way. Don't be afraid of failure. Welcome it. Because in order to grow you have to fail. So Fail Forward.

That’s our story.
Now it’s time to start writing your own.
